It was a D'Angelo Russell brilliance, as the Ohio State item set up 34 points in as many minutes, adding on as many assists (seven) as missed shots. LeBron James added 28 points, five rebounds and six assists, as the Lakers built an important lead at halftime. They never looked back from there.   Denver Nuggets beat Boston Celtics, 102-100 The best team in the NBA in the Celtics received their first loss after a close fight against Denver Nuggets Jamal Murray scored 35 points, Nikola Jokic finished with 34 and Denver held on to hand the Boston Celtics their first home loss of the season, 102-100 on Friday night. Jokic added 12 rebounds and nine assists to help the defending NBA champions end the Celtics' streak at 20 home victories. It was the first of two regular-season meetings between teams with sights on representing their respective conferences in the NBA Finals. They play again in Denver on March 7.
