Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha : What does it mean to us
It's been a long struggle of 500 years for many Indians to welcome Lord Shri Ram in the temple at his birthplace. India is known for its feeling for religions. Obviously, it's all about the sentiments. One cannot neglect the belief of Hindus in Maryada Purushottam Prabhu Shri Ram.
Ram for All: Lord Rama is the seventh avatar of Lord Vishnu, also known as Maryada Purushottam, which means the Perfect/ Idol Man. Maryada means limit and Purushottam means the greater than the greatest man. Purusha means the Man of Honor. Lord Rama achieved success by controlling the situation even in adverse circumstances. He always followed the Vedas and the Maryada. Because Rama is the embodiment of truth, he is the ideal son, the ideal husband, and the most important, the ideal king. By compromising on his own pleasures, he supported justice and truth. Lord Rama is the paragon of virtues. Indian, irrespective of his/her religion look forward to Lord Rama to follow His footsteps in difficult times.
Devotion is endless and it cannot be controlled. And, India is a secular country and so every Indian is free to manage his/her religious affairs. So, there should not be any discussion that why we cannot show our devotion for Prabhu Shri Ram who was under tent in his own land for so many years. All other religions do practice their religious beliefs as well and we, Indians are proud of our unity in diversity. We have been celebrating all our festivals together, be it Eid, Diwali, Holi or Guru Parv.
Politics in India cannot be predicted. It's always a war of words between the party in power and the parties in opposition. No matter what the topic is, political parties are ready with their business.
So, I, as a very proud Indian believe that let's forget all our issues behind and welcome our Lord Shri Ram with full of devotion and respect.
Jai Shri Ram.
