INDIA ally Nitish may resign, may form Govt with BJP

Speculations are overflowing that Bihar Chief Minister and INDIA bloc ally Nitish Kumar might get back to the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA). India Today cited BJP sources as saying on Thursday that the saffron party has set a condition for the JD(U) chief if he wants to return to the alliance. And that condition is that Nitish Kumar must quit as the chief minister, sources said.


Sources say that Nitish Kumar is get back to the NDA and is currently mulling legal options to dissolve the state assembly. BJP may get 2 Deputy CMs post in the new government. Sushil Modi set to return as Deputy CM.

RJD is also looking to form Government with Congress, AIMIM and HAM. Sources report that Manjhi has been offered Deputy CM post by RJD for Santosh Kumar Manjhi.


Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar may end alliance with RJD and recommend dissolution of Bihar assembly if RJD leader does not step down. Ties between the two allies worsened after scathing response to Kumar's remarks on dynastic politics.
