Team India will look to start with winning ways in the tournament opener against Bangladesh.

The most successful team in the Under-19 World Cup history, reigning champs India will set out on a mission to add one more prize to their assortment when a new team led by Uday Saharan takes on Bangladesh in their competition opener here on Saturday.

After winning their first championship in 2002 under Mohammad Kaif, Indian  team went on to win the U-19 World Cup in 2008, 2012, 2018, and 2022. 

Bangladesh, on the other hand, have won the U-19 World Cup only once in 2020.
