Despite contributions from skipper Mooney (24 off 22 balls), Tanuja Kanwar (28 off 21 balls), and Bryce (25 off 24 balls), they failed to build substantial partnerships against the disciplined MIW bowling attack. Amelia Kerr and Shabnim Ismail led the charge, with Kerr taking 4 wickets for 17 runs and Ismail grabbing 3 wickets for 18 runs.
