There have been experiments on the usefulness of robots in the human world for years. Recently, the issue of AI is also very popular that will this artificial intelligence replace human abilities and make humans null and void? Director duo Amit Joshi and Aradhana Shah have come up with a love story of a robot and a human. The pair raise the question: despite being perfect in every way, can a robot take the place of a human in ordinary life? We have seen movies like  'Robot', 'Love Story 2050', 'Her', 'X Machine' on this issue. This director duo adds love, romance, drama, dance-song everything to the story, only logic is missing.

Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya

Teri Baaton mein aisa Uljha Jiya is a simple and heartwarming love story of a Robotics Engineer and a Robot girl. The story begins with a robotics engineer finding a girl for Aryan (Shahid Kapoor). Aryan is a good-looking boy and not only his mother, but his entire family wants him to get married and settle down. But Aryan doesn't like any girl. Meanwhile, he is called by his aunt Urmila (Dimple Kapadia) for a project in the US. Urmila herself, the owner of a robotics company, has been experimenting with robots for many years and is trying to give the human world a perfect robot that can defeat humans. She hires a robot named Sifra (Kriti Sanon) to take care of Aryan.

Aryan starts loving her as he realizes that Sifra is the perfect girl for him to fall in love with. But the twist in the tale comes when he finds out that Sifra is a robot, despite this, he is not able to stop the emotions brewing in his mind. He somehow manages to convince his aunt to send this beautiful robot to India to be tested in a human environment. In fact, Aryan has made up his mind that he will marry Sifra. He has also introduced Sifra to his family without revealing her real identity. But will Aryan's family get to know that Sifra is a robot? Could they get married? You will get answers to all these questions after watching the film.

Director duo Amit Joshi and Aradhana Shah come up with a timely issue in the age of AI that has become a topic of debate today. When AI is becoming a threat in professional life, what if humans try the option of a robot instead of a living girl for love and home? The director duo has tried their best to make it a family entertainer as well as a rom-com, in which they are successful, but lack in establishing the robot in the family setup. The story takes a while to develop. But there are several interesting twists in the story.

The film is funny and entertaining in many parts, but by the end it becomes predictable. How could the film be screened? The climax feels over too soon. If you had worked hard on the writing of the film, it could have been a wonderful film. Talking about the music, all the songs of the film like 'Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya', 'Ankhiyan Gulab', 'Lal-Peeli Ankhiyan' are hit and it is fun to see Shahid and Kriti dancing on these songs.

On the acting front, Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon look stunning together. After a long time, Shahid's fans will definitely like to see him in the romantic space away from grey and intense roles. He has done his role in a unique way. Kriti looks gorgeous on screen. She has played the role of a robot very well. The chemistry between the two is superb on screen. Dharmendra and Dimple Kapadia have done justice to their roles. The supporting cast includes Rakesh Bedi, Grusha Kapoor, Mahi Raj Jain, Rajesh Kumar, Ashish Verma etc.

Our Rating : 3/5
