In a highly anticipated showdown, the Mumbai Indians and the Royal Challengers Bangalore are set to face off in the eliminator match of WPL 2024 on Friday, 15th March at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi. Mumbai's skipper, Harmanpreet Kaur's blistering 95* had already secured Mumbai's place in the playoffs before their recent defeat against Royal Challengers Bangalore led by Ellyse Perry.

Despite Kaur's exceptional leadership, Mumbai Indians have experienced a turbulent season, with five victories marred by three comprehensive losses. However, with a wounded spirit, Mumbai aims to replicate their previous season's resilience when they bounced back from a setback against UP Warriorz in a similar fashion.

Batting coach Devieka Palshikaar hinted at a sense of déjà vu, suggesting that history might repeat itself, as Mumbai gears up to confront Royal Challengers Bangalore. Mumbai sees this as an opportunity to showcase their renowned all-round strength and bounce back to secure a spot in the final showdown, coincidentally against Delhi Capitals once again.

On the other hand, Royal Challengers Bangalore presents a formidable challenge this year, unlike their previous season's struggle. Led by Smriti Mandhana, RCB has displayed resilience on the field and composure off it. With various players stepping up on different occasions, RCB has shown depth and determination, making them a formidable opponent.
